In this installment Delaney is called to a crime scene at the local high school. The star quarterback was found dead in the locker room, supposedly from a drug overdose. Was he murdered or was it an accidental overdose, were the questions on Delaney’s. However, when a childhood friend was found dead in the same manner and with her two children missing, Delaney knew without a doubt that there was a killer at large. At the center of it all were tainted drugs.
The story pulls the reader in from the first page. The mystery keeps you guessing and the suspense keeps you turning the pages. Delaney and her partner find themselves in a race against time to find the killer before they strike again. The investigation wasn’t the only thing Delaney and Noah had to contend with.
