Callahan, a former army sniper, wants to make an escape from his past and everything he experienced at war, but most of all, just not feel. Feeling leads to pain and he’s suffered enough. When he inherits a house on South Carolina’s Kiawah Island, he packs his bags, lured by the peace and seclusion he thinks it will bring. But, Callahan never counted on meeting anyone like Trinity . . .
Trinity has always been the cute, and funny one, who most guys overlook in pursuit of her "hot" friends. She became used to being everyone’s pal, until the day the young man she was attracted to, was drawn to her in return. He became her first great love, and first crushing heartbreak when she found him in bed with one of her closest friends.
To move forward, and to carry out her commitment to helping those in need, Trinity enlists in the Peace Corps, but not before returning to Kiawah for one last memorable summer. She just never imagined it would be so unforgettable.
Callahan doesn’t want to get close to anyone—let alone Trinity. He finds her perkiness insufferable and her attempts to entice a smile distracting. After all, he’s in Kiawah to leave all feelings behind. But when it comes to Trinity, who feels everything, it's hard not to feel something.
Neither expected to fall in love. And no one could have predicted how inseverable they’d become.

🎧︎Inseverable, book one in Robson’s Carolina Beach series, (This is my second time visiting the series having read Infinite a few years ago), Robson delivered a story rife with emotions, one which will tug on the heart, make one laugh while fanning oneself to cool down from the sizzling intimate moments.
Robson delved into the tight bonds of friendship while delivering a romance between the unlikeliest couple, Trinity and Callahan. Trinity is bubbly, outgoing and has no filter. The moment she opens her mouth, one cannot help but fall in love with her. Poor Callahan never stood a chance. From the moment she sets her sights on him, he risk succumbing to her charms. Callahan came to Kiawah Island for some peaceful moments after spending eight years in the army. However, he never counted on meeting Trinity, the one woman who possessed the power to turn his life inside out.
Trinity and Callahan were good for each other. They came into each other’s lives at the right moment. Their interactions, which were witty, playful, passionate and solemn add to the story’s enjoyment. It was great to see Callahan shedding his grumpy persona and embracing love and friendship.
Now as much as I loved Trinity, I did not approve of her failure to inform Callahan of a decision, which she made it before she met him, but would have a profound effect on their relationship. Her action created a small amount of drama, which thankfully was resolved.
The audio was superb, with it outstanding special effects and impeccable narration. This is my second experience with Tara Langella and my first with Lucas Webley. Tara narrated all the female voices and Lucas the male voices. This is my favorite type of narration. Tara did an excellent job portraying all the female characters. She captured every single emotion, personalities and her accents were spot on. Lucas’s low and sexy baritone. was perfect for the voice of Callahan. He also handled the other voices exceptionally well. The sound effects coupled with the narration made Inseverable the perfect listen.
So grab your earbuds/headphones and prepare for a journey of loss, healing and love. 🎧︎Inseverable is perfect for fans of slow burn romance.

There is so much to love about it. I agree. Tara is good.
Wonderful review, Nadene. I love some witty banter!
Wow, this sounds like a great read, Nadene! I’ve not read Cecy Robson yet but have Once Kissed up next (Sophia’s rec) so I’m happy to see that you also enjoy her writing. Great review!
I am sure you are going to love Once Kissed. It was a good story.
Oh yay a Cecy Robson, I just love her stuff and I need to get back to reading her more often. I just love how well she delivers on the heart of her stories. I just love the sound of this one, and I already have to placed on hold from my library haha
I read this as it is a North Carolina setting. It’s a little bit dramatic but I enjoyed it.
I remember loving this book when I listened to it a few years ago. I am so glad that you liked it as well.
