Whoever said what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas is a damn liar.
I’ve done everything I can to try to forget Mr. Last-Name-Unknown—and his dig at my job as a social media influencer.
But forgetting his words, or more importantly, the attraction we shared pre-insult seems nearly impossible. Especially when I end up stuck in an elevator with him in NYC. And he's infuriatingly gorgeous—wearing a suit that looks like it was made specifically for him. It probably was.
Sparks definitely fly—only it isn’t just anger. The attraction we felt in Sin City still sizzles between us. And his abs of steel and killer smile are definitely affecting my lady parts.
I probably shouldn’t forgive him. Besides, I’m leaving in a few days… Yet, the silver-tongued lawyer manages to work his way back into my good graces…and into my bed.
So, can what happened in Vegas lead to forever in New York?Author's Warning: What Happened in Vegas is a delicious lovers to enemies and back to lovers that will give you all the feels. It’s filled with scorching banter, sexy scenes, and several laugh-out-loud moments. No cheating. No cliffhangers. Guaranteed HEA.

?What Happened in Vegas by Mika Jolie is the seventh book in the Platonically Complicated series. Each book is self-contained as making it easy for them to be read as standalones. This installment features Chelsea and Griffin, whom I met in Paging Dr. Hookup.
Now their initial meeting, which took place in Vegas, did not go so well. It ended with Griffin insulting Chelsea’s career as a social media influencer. Despite this, he was never far from her thoughts and it would appear the feelings were mutual. However, when they bumped into each other in New York, Chelsea’s anger spiked, but she couldn’t ignore the sparks which ignited each time they laid eyes on each other. Sparks, which not only stemmed from anger but also the chemistry that burned between them. Then fate stepped in the form of a malfunctioning elevator, providing them with a second chance.
I enjoyed Chelsea and Griffin’s story. A short, sweet and spicy enemies to lovers’ romance. Notwithstanding the length, the story featured well-developed and likeable characters. A sassy and feisty heroine and a hero who is not afraid to grovel and admit when he is wrong.
Their relationship developed at a swift pace, which fit in with the length of the story. What they shared felt genuine and loved how it all came together.
Conclusion/Recommendation
If you are in the mood for a short, sweet and sizzling enemies to lovers’ romance, then ?What Happened in Vegas would be a great addition to your library.

I don’t know if this would be a good fit for me, but I am curious why he’s holding a towel on the cover… haha!

I’ve seen Mika via social media and she’s lots of fun, but I haven’t read any of her books yet. Definitely need to do so soon. Hugs, RO
