Claimed by a Demon King is the second book in the Eternal Mates series and can be read as a stand-alone. This story is about Sable a huntress with Archangel (an organization that had been set up to keep order among paranormal species residing in the mortal realm) and Thorne
the demon king of the third realm.
the demon king of the third realm.
I was first introduced to Sable and Thorne in Kissed by a Dark Prince and since then I could not wait to read their story. Since their first meeting it was clear that these two were destined to be eternal mates.
Sable is no ordinary female. She is a fighter and a demon huntress. She is strong, independent, caring and rather spirited. She has been selected to lead a command unit
into the Third Realm to assist Thorne in his war against the demon king of the fifth realm. Sable’s desire was to
become a commander and this mission was the test to prove her capability as such she could not afford to have any distraction. She is aware that she is Thorne’s fated female, however she found it difficult to comprehend in light of the fact that he is a demon and her job is to hunt his kind.

Thorne is a warrior who is determined to protect his kingdom from his enemies. He is rather fierce and arrogant and is a force to contend with. However, when it came to Sable he was very tender, caring and patient. He is willing to wait as long as it took for Sable to accept that they belonged together. Getting Sable to accept him as her fated mate would prove to be the hardest battles he has fought in his 3500 years.
The path to these two getting together was not easy. They
were faced with quite a few obstacles one of which came in the form an elf named Bleu. It was quite funny to see the lengths that Bleu and Thorne went to just to impress Sable. Bleu provoked Thorne every opportunity he got. He wanted Sable for himself and would stop at nothing to win her over. After a while though I thought Bleu was being a bit difficult especially since he knew that Sable was not his fated female.

Claimed by a Demon King is a funny, entertaining, fast paced
and quite riveting that is filled with lots of action. Felicity Heaton is quite adept when it comes to writing the type of stories that pulls her readers in and hold their interest to the very end. She brings her characters to life and make everything appears quite realistic. I loved the twist she placed on Sable’s past which helped to make this story very intriguing. So far this is my favourite of the series and I can’t wait to see what next Felicity has in store for her fans.
