๐A Highland Wolf Christmas gave me the chance to dive back into the Heart of the Wolf series.ย This is the fifteenth book in the series, but have no fear books can be read in any order. A delightful shifter holiday romance set in the Scottish highlands, featuring sexy wolf shifters in kilts.

๐A Highland Wolf Christmas introduces Calla Stewart and Guthrie MacNeill. Calla is an event planner. Ian and Julia MacNeill hired her to plan their first mated Christmas celebration. This means she has to convince Guthrie to loosen the pack’s purse strings.
Prior to starting the job, she broke off her engagement, a decision which led to harassment by her ex-fiancรฉe. The unending harassment led to the MacNeill clan assuming her protection. Her protective detail was headed by Guthrie.ย Not necessarily a bad thing, but Calla has been nurturing a crush for the scrooge like wolf shifter for a while.
Calla and Guthrie are perfect together. Despite their attraction to each other, they are hesitant to get close to each other. Calla is not the only one to have a disastrous romantic past. Guthrie also has his share of hurt and fears history repeating itself. However, when they finally let go of the past and acknowledge their feelings, they burnt up the pages.
I admired Callaโs dedication to her business and her family. Her fighting spirit and determination are also traits that add to her appeal. Guthrie has no issues protecting Calla. He will do so with his last breath.
The author created some suspenseful moments with Callaโs harassment by her ex. These moments were tense, which made me nervous for Calla.
๐A Highland Wolf Christmas is a fun paranormal holiday romance which will keep you entertained from start to finish. Witty, captivating, action packed, delightfully sexy and wonderful characters make ๐A Highland Wolf Christmas the perfect holiday read for fans of shifter romance.

Thanks. I too have enjoyed reading her work in the past. I can’t believe I waited so long to get back to reading her books.
I’ve read a few out of order over the years and enjoyed her wolves. This looks like a fun holiday one.
It was indeed fun.
Good to know that these books don’t have to be read in order. I have wanted to try this author for a while.
