If you did not read White Ribbon, no worries at all. The first seven chapters of 📚Red Sin covered all the events which occurred in White Ribbon.Â
Interesting characters, romance and as dash of mystery made for a compelling read. An unexpected twist at the end of White Ribbon led to some interesting turn of events in 📚Red Sin. A chance encounter, a one night stand, and a job offer changes the lives of both Van and Julia.
Van and Julia were awesome characters. They made a great team both in and outside the bedroom. I appreciated the way he treated her. It is clear he is completely enamored with her, but it doesn’t impair his judgment when it comes to business. His shrewd approach to business made him a force to be reckoned with amongst his peers. His business acumen led to persons either fearing or in awe of him.Â
More of Julia’s past came to light, but Van remains a mystery. Yes he is enigmatic and self assured and since meeting Julia his caring, possessive and thoughtful nature came to light. But that is all the reader was privy to.  The story did deliver a few hints here and there, which have one guessing at what they may signify. The fact he is keeping secrets from Julia didn’t sit well with me. However, I loved how he believed in her and helped her to uncover a side to her she never knew existed.Â
The ending may not have been what I wanted, but I expected it based on how the events unfolded. I will say this though it has me eager to get my hands on the next book, Green Envy.

Synopsis
Red is the color of blood, sacrifice, danger, and courage. It’s also associated with heat, passion, and sexuality. When two people meet unexpectedly with an inexplicable attraction that defies common understanding…it can be called RED SIN.
Julia and Van found one another in a shaken snow globe. Stranded in a blizzard, they embraced being two individuals with no last names. The plan was to walk away from each other with no regrets—until that plan changed.
Julia’s life was delivered a staggering blow the day she discovered her fiancé’s infidelity. The night she met a handsome stranger, one who showed her the possibility of a life filled with more than the fulfillment of expectations, she took a chance.
When it comes to business, Donovan Sherman is a wolf—a bloodthirsty carnivore who leaves wounded prey and victims in his wake. He learned from the best, his onetime nemesis and now-mentor, Lennox Demetri, who showed him that opportunities are only ripe for those willing to risk it all, a lesson Donovan took to heart.
With Julia McGrath, Donovan must decide if this beautiful woman who showed him the meaning of red sin will fall victim as his prey or if after experiencing the unbridled passion, there is more that he wants.
From New York Times bestselling author Aleatha Romig comes a brand-new age-gap, family saga, chance meeting, contemporary romantic-suspense novel in the world of high finance, where success is sweet and revenge is sweeter.

Yes, it a good read. I am so looking forward to the next book.
I love her suspense novels. I am glad she did a nice recap.
This series introduced me to her work. Planning to go back to her previous books.
Glad you enjoyed the read. 7 chapters covering the first book sounds like a lot for those who have read book 1. Great review.
Readers are warned prior to the start of the book. So they have the choice of rereading or skipping.
Great review! Hate the ending didn’t work for you, though. It’s been too long since I’ve read one of Romig’s books.
Sounds like a fun series, and love the color coded titles too! Great review
