Gold Lust by is the third installment in the exciting and explosive Sin series by Aleatha Romig. A word of caution: the books need to be read in order of release.

*GOLD LUST is a full-length novel and book three of the Sin Series that began with RED SIN, continued with GREEN ENVY and GOLD LUST, and concludes with BLACK KNIGHT.
Gold Lust picked up exactly from where Green Envy ended. With an heightened curiosity about the turn of events, I flipped the pages of Gold Lust, eagerly seeking to learn how it would all unfold.
Donovan Sherman’s secrets were slowly unravelling The question, though, was what other secrets were he hiding and will it be as explosive as the others? Secrets formed the foundation of his relationship with Julia. The revelation of each secret, places Julia in harm’s way.
Julia showed courage and resilience throughout the story. Having all the information in relation to Donovan’s history, would’ve better equipped her to handle the repercussions from his actions in the past.
Throughout the series, Donovan piqued my curiosity. I admired him for his business acumen. However, the more I learnt of his personal side, I recognised this was not a man to trifle with. But his actions from his past came back to bite him where it hurts the most. Now, I must admit, despite my admiration for Donovan, I did not agree with his decision to keep secrets from Julia. Also, his reaction at the start of this book confused and angered me , seeing that it was his penchant for keeping secrets that landed everyone in their current situation.
The story delivered suspense and a dose of romance. I have to admit, though, this installment provided no challenge in figuring out the who, the why and the what. However, the nail biting moments came from figuring out when and how the other shoe would drop – and drop it did with an explosive cliff-hangar. Now I am in anticipation of the release of the final book, Black Knight.
Gold Lust is filled with suspense, mystery, secrets and passionate moments. Overall, I found it to be a satisfying continuation to the series.

His secrets seem to be building up to something big. Looks like a series that will make one reach for the next one in the series as soon as possible.
