Teaser Tuesday #9

Posted on March 24, 2015 by Nadene @ Totally Addicted to Reading in Reviews / 7 Comments

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of MizB of A Daily Rhythm.. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

 Seaside Secrets by Melissa Foster

Like Amy. Sweet Amy. She looked at him with more emotion than any of their friends looked at each other. If he had a sliver of a chance of being the man she deserved, he’d give up everything else in his life just to be with her.
He would give up surfing, motivational speaking. He’d give up breathing if he could be good enough for her, but he wasn’t even sure he knew how to own his feelings anymore after repressing them for so long.

  1. He definitely sounds very much in love with her, although I think giving up breathing won't do either of them much good 😉 I hope you enjoy this one and thanks for dropping by my blog!

  2. Sounds obsessive. Hopefully she would want him to be hers without giving everything up. Hope you're enjoying it and thanks for coming by!

I have a lot of Melissa's books on my TBR, and this sounds worth adding. Maybe one day I'll actually get to one. 🙂
