‘Falling for Mr. Bad’ was a delightful and passionate read that had me hooked from the beginning. After meeting Kane and Sable in Rocked by Love, I knew their story would be explosive, and Melissa Foster delivered. Prepare for a narrative that will not only melt your reading device but also tug at your heartstrings and leave you wanting more.

Scorching heat, laugh-out-loud humor, and loads of heart make this sexy enemies-to-lovers, close proximity, forbidden, workplace, small town standalone romance unputdownable. No cheating, no cliffhangers, and happily ever afters guaranteed to leave you breathlessly in love with the fiercely loyal and wickedly naughty characters in the Love in Bloom series. All Love in Bloom books are written to stand alone or be enjoyed as part of the larger series, so dive right in and enjoy the ride!
In FALLING FOR MR. BAD...Sable Montgomery loves her single, do-as-she-pleases small-town life. She sees family often, spends her days working in her auto shop and many evenings playing at a local pub with her band, Surge. She has no desire to settle down or let any man tell her what to do. When Surge is offered what most people would consider the chance of a lifetime to tour with and open for Bad Intentions, the hottest rock band of the decade, her bandmates are all in, but she’s determined to walk away. Sable has no patience for glitz, glamour, or overinflated egos, and that includes the infuriatingly hot billionaire sent to wrangle her into submission.
Taking over as manager for his brother’s band wasn’t on business mogul Kane Bad’s agenda last year, much less negotiating with the stubborn and beautiful lead singer for Surge, but there’s nothing he won’t do for family. Including trying to stifle his desire for Sable. He needs to convince her to accept the contract, but he’d rather wrangle the sexy, headstrong, boot-wearing, tough-talking musician into his bed.
Loyalties are tested, lies are told, and greedy pleasures are satisfied. Are they just a chorus between chaotic verses, or will falling for Mr. Bad be Sable’s greatest love song?
Melissa Foster has proven over and over again the reason she is one of my favourite authors. She continues to provide romance readers with well written and emotionally charged stories. Falling for Mr. Bad falls seamlessly into that category. This story will not only make you laugh, but you will feel like you are a part of the world Foster created. The bonds of friendship and family that usually permeate her stories are front and centre in this instalment.
The reading of Sable and Kane’s relationship was delightful, addictive, and fun Their many exchanges either had me laughing out loud, swooning, or wanting to knock some sense into them. Their initial exchange was antagonistic, and it continued in that manner for some time. Eventually, their exchanges became more flirtatious and intimate. I enjoyed getting to know them both. Their similar personalities made them perfect for each other.
At first, Kane’s actions were unsettling. But as the story went on, he developed into a slightly more sophisticated figure. Sable deserves credit, in my opinion, for the change. Kane’s character grew more endearing as they grew closer. It warmed my heart to see how he went out of his way to protect Sable. A task that did not go over too easily for the stubborn and independent woman.
Sable is a tough lady who fiercely defends the people she loves. Selfless to a fault. She puts the needs of everyone above her own. Her choice to join the tour in order to support her band members was indicative of this. Although she doesn’t enjoy being in the spotlight and fame is not something she craves, she voluntarily steps up for her friends. She finds comfort in music but fixing cars is the thing she enjoys most.
If this is your first Melissa Foster story, no need to worry, as like all her books, it can be read as a stand-alone. However, fair warning, you will have an innate desire to pick up the other books after reading this one. Fans of contemporary romance with a small town setting and featuring billionaires will want to add Falling for Mr. Bad to their reading list.
