Filled with heat, romance and humor, She Loves Me by Meliss Foster proved to be an enjoyable read. Harley Dutch and Piper Dalton have been friends for a long time. They have shared a lot over the years, but the one thing they failed to share was their feelings for each other.
I had been looking forward to reading Harley and Piper’s story ever since the author introduced them both in the Sugar Lake series. At the start of the Harmony Point series the spark between them were evident, and I was eager for more. Now that I got the chance to read their story, I can say without a doubt it was worth the wait.
Harley Dutch is someone who looks out for those he loves and protects them the best way he can. After his father’s death he returned home after working many years on Wall Street to take over the family bar. In addition, he assisted his sister in caring for her daughters while she battled with breast cancer. Besides his family, Piper was one of the many people he looked out for despite her not needing anyone to fight her battles. He would do anything to move from the friend zone, but Piper had erected a wall so thick around her heart that neither his flirty comments or his blatant attempts at preventing her from dating other men could break them down.
Piper had an independent streak a mile long. As part owner of a construction company she is more comfortable with a hammer in her hand than make up and high heels. She does not see herself as being sweet-natured despite her helping out persons in need. Not one to have luck in relationships, she has sworn off marriage and having a family.
This book gave me all the feels. I laughed, I shed a tear here and there and sometimes I wanted to shake some sense into Piper. I had a marvellous time watching both Harley and Piper navigate their way from the friend zone to becoming a couple. I could sense their chemistry, and I loved how they grew as a couple. The journey was not without its challenges, but the result had me smiling from ear to ear. Harley opened Piper’s eyes, making her see she need not fear her feelings as he would never hurt her.
I received an arc through Netgalley, however I borrowed a copy through Kindle Unlimited where I listened to the audio version.
Aiden Snow narrated, and he did an outstanding job. He handled the voices of the characters well and brought out the emotions in the story. I loved the pace he read at and I believed his narration he enhanced my enjoyment of the story.
Conclusion/Recommendation
Fans of Harmony Point series will adore Piper and Harley’s story. If you enjoy contemporary romance, then I highly recommend this series.

Call Her Mine (Harmony Pointe Book 1)
Ben Dalton has always been honest, except where his heart is concerned. He’s been in love with his best friend—saucy, smart-mouthed Aurelia Stark—forever. But Ben’s a planner, and timing has never been on his side. When he finally decides to make his move, Aurelia beats him to the punch with a move of her own—to a different town.
Aurelia loves her new life in the charming town of Harmony Pointe. She has a great apartment and her very own bookstore, and best of all, the sinfully hot, commitment-phobic friend she’s crushed on for years is no longer just around the corner. Maybe she’ll finally be able to leave her unrequited love behind and move on.
But when a baby is left on Ben’s front porch—a baby that is presumably his—Aurelia is there for him. Neither one knows the first thing about babies, but how hard can it be? Ben and Aurelia are catapulted into a world of love, laughter, and tracking down the baby mama, and it might even add up to a very happily ever after . . . just not one either of them expects.
