I hit a slight slump in my reading. I managed to read two books in the past week. This was mostly due to me not being in the mood for reading, which was rather strange for me. I chalked it up to the fact that I was emotionally and physically drained. I
hope to regain my momentum in the coming week.

I received this Dark Stranger through the Amazon Prime program. I found the premise intriguing. It is definitely different from what I have come to expect from the paranormal/urban fantasy genre. As I am writing this post I am 35% into it, and so far it is ok.
Desperate to escape her kidnappers, Kody Cameron can turn to only one man…and he’s holding a gun. Outnumbered and trapped in the deadly Everglades, she has little recourse, but something in this captor’s eyes makes her believe she can trust him. Does she dare to take the risk?

I am reading Law and Disorder courtesy of Barnes and Noble serial reads. I am currently at chapter 6 and I am yet to be wowed.

Hopefully as you read more of the Law and Disorder book, you’ll start to like it. It seemed to get better as the book went on. I read it for a review.
