I nodded and stared down at the blisters on my hands from climbing the obstacles. “The problem is you’re trying too hard to make them like you.” I looked up. “Shouldn’t a team get along?” “Teamwork doesn’t require friendship. It requires everyone to do their jobs.” She pointed at me. “It requires trust and confidence that all members will hold their own when shit goes down.”
