What’s more romantic than finding your forever love on Valentine’s Day?
They say opposites attract, but for former boxing champ and gym owner Brock Garner, having the beautiful dark-haired, tattooed, combat-boot wearing pixie Cree Redmond flitting around his club has nearly driven him mad. Brock has wanted Cree since the first time he saw her, and when he learns she has the singing voice of an angel, it speaks to another part of his heart and he’s unwilling to hold back any longer. The events of Seaside Serenade took place over a two-day period. Although this is book 9, Seaside Serenade makes a wonderful introduction to readers not familiar with the series. For those familiar with the series, it offers one the chance to catch up with the couples from the previous books, while delivering a short, spicy and sweet romance for a new couple, Brock and Cree.
Brock and Cree shared and intense attraction, however a misunderstanding prevented them from exploring their feelings. The moment they learnt the truth there was no holding back for these two. I enjoyed spending with this couple, but I wished I had more time with them.
I had the pleasure of listening to the audiobook which was narrated by Samantha Brentmoor and Sean Masters. Their voices complemented each other and they brought the characters and the story to life. They did a great job with the variety of characters’ voices. They showcased different tones for each character. Their collaboration led to a satisfying listening experience
