Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of MizB of A Daily Rhythm.. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
Today I will be sharing two teasers from
Booker Hate City
by
John W Mefford
TEASER 1
Blowing out a swirl of smoke, he reminded himself why he’d made this journey west, to Dallas of all places. History had changed the world many years ago, his life more than just about anyone’s, he’d finally admitted. And Dallas would once again serve as the backdrop for another history lesson.
Payback was all that he had left. After all, his life wasn’t worth shit
TEASER 2
He’d rarely felt fulfilled with any endeavor. But as he took in a long drag, savoring the Montecristo, he also knew nothing could stop him from finally proving to the world and himself that life is a gift to be cherished.
Until it is taken.

Thank you. I did enjoy it.
Sounds intense and brutal. Hope you enjoy! =)
Thanks for stepping by and sharing. Happy Tuesday!
Intense yes, but I would not say brutal.
The cover pops and it sounds like there is a lot of action. Happy reading.

Interesting teasers. I'm teasing Ever After by Jude Deveraux on my adult blog this week. It's a romance with ghosts. Happy reading!
I'm curious to know why this said character thinks their life is meaningless; I do hope you're enjoying it 🙂
I was born and raised in Dallas, so it would be especially fun for me to revisit the city through the pages of this book. Sounds like a good one!
My Tuesday post features A Walk in the Woods.
