Puck Money by Dani Galliaro delivered a hockey romance like none I have ever read before. This is my first time reading Dani Galliaro and I am sure it will not be my last.
A sports agent/lawyer meets a hockey player, who finds themselves in a meet-cute situation while attending the wedding of the lawyer’s best friends to the hockey player’s teammate. The two soon find themselves in a secret friends with benefits relationship.

Puck Money introduces Annie and Nick, who met under the cutest of circumstances. Over the course of the pre-wedding and post wedding celebrations, the two developed a connection. Although their connection was undeniable, Nick’s inexperience with women put a damper on things. Nick wants to make it up to her, but circumstances saw them go their separate ways after the wedding. Nevertheless, as fate would have it, a job offer saw Annie leaving Nashville and becoming Nick’s agent.
Annie and Nick’s professional connection makes it a no-no for any type of romantic relationship. Nick, however, is determined to spend time with Annie, even if it means doing so in secret. Nick is one of those heroes readers cannot help but fall in love with. Innocent, sweet, caring, attentive, protective, sensitive, and handsome. Their chemistry was off the charts, and despite their forbidden situation, they couldn’t stay away from each other. Annie didn’t want to fall in love, but her heart had other plans. Soon, the friends with benefits relationship she shared with Nick grew into an endearing romance.
Puck Money focuses on real life issues in relation to exploring and understanding one’s sexuality. The author helped me understand what it meant to be pansexual. The writing style made for an easy read. Overall, I had a blast with this one. This is one of those books that was hard to put down. If you enjoy hockey romances as much as I do, then Puck Money is a must-read.
