This is the first book in a five part series and it is of to a good start. My only peeve is in the way it ended. I just hate cliffhangers.

Revenge is about a young and innocent farm girl named Jess who has come to LA for an internship at Morris Music, an Indie music company. During one of her walks on the streets of LA she happened upon Dylan a street guitarist/singer. The attraction between these two was instantaneous.

Dylan is quite mysterious and it’s evident that he has secrets which he does not want to be uncovered even if it means giving up his dream of being a well established musician. The management of Morris Music is intent on finding out those secrets and has no qualms about using Jess to achieve this as they are aware that there is chemistry between these two.

Revenge is a quick, funny, entertaining and intriguing read. I cant’ wait to find what’s going to happen next.
