Wright Kind of Trouble by K. A. Linde is the seventh book in the Wright Vineyard series and number 14 in the overall Wright series. As a follower of the series, the lives of the characters intrigue me and I look forward to each installment. Imagine my excitement when I learned this installment featured Harley Wright and Chase Sinclair’s story.  Linde delivered a captivating tale featuring an age gap and forbidden romance tropes in The Wright Kind of Trouble.

An age gap, enemy’s little sister romance set in the Wright world about Harley Wright & Chase Sinclair from USA Today bestselling author K.A. Linde.
He didn’t know I was ten years younger.I didn’t know he was a Sinclair.
He didn’t care that I was a Wright.I knew exactly what I wanted.
Yet, I know none of this when I fall into his bed.
Touching him is like finally waking after a long sleep and the thought of being without him is like driving a knife through my chest. But it's worse—he was almost engaged to my brother's wife—which makes him public enemy number one.
Our families hate each other. No one can know what we did.If any of my four older brothers find out, they will run him out of town.
And still…I want him.

The fact that The Wright Kind of Trouble revolved around two characters whose families were sworn enemies made this story one of my most anticipated reads for 2024. The feud between both families dates way back.  Therefore, a Wright and a Sinclair falling in love is a big no-no.  However, Chase and Harley definitely did not get the memo. Besides, when the heart wants what it wants, it will fight tooth and nail to get it.

The story takes readers on a captivating journey filled with romance and drama. A journey one will not want to end anytime soon. I had a blast with the newest book by Linde. My only regret lay in the fact that the journey ended abruptly and in such a shocking manner. Linde delivered a tale that would have readers rooting for the characters throughout the progression of the story. Readers get relatable and likeable characters and a riveting storyline that engages from the start to the finish.

The chemistry between Chase and Harley leapt from the pages. It was evident from the moment they came into contact with each other.  Despite the complications, they couldn’t stay away from each other.  Their interactions held me captive throughout the story. I couldn’t stop rooting for them. Watching their secret romance blossom over a period of time had me on the edge of my seat due to its forbidden nature.  Their stolen moments together warmed my heart.  It was in these moments that one saw how much they loved each other.  I wanted them to come clean with their families, but at the same time, I feared their reaction to the truth.  I knew it would not go well.

Secondary characters added depth to the story, and Harley’s brothers definitely stirred the pot. I am eager to see how it all plays out, especially with the shocking cliffhanger. Bring on part two.
