For me this was a unique, interesting and inspirational
read. I was given inside knowledge of each student’s hopes, aspirations and
concerns. I learnt about their family life and the everyday challenges they
faced being a teenager.

The relationship that existed between Mrs. Childs and her
studentswas inspirational. I loved that
she was able to impact their lives in a positive way. I was also impressed with how she was able to
learn from them and used the lessons learnt to aid in changing the direction of
her life. For me this was a testament to the effective teacher she was.
