I love this cover, which in my opinion is cute and sexy. I fell in love with the cover from the moment I laid eyes on it.  Then the story, which laid in between this awesome cover, stole my heart piece by piece.
Secondly. I know zilch about dog sledding, but one thing I know is Nome-O Seeks Juliet, which is told from dual POVs, is a well-written story, which will tug on your heartstrings and likely to leave you in a blubbering mess.
The story introduced readers to flawed and relatable characters. We have Cody, a marine who had was honorably discharged, and placed on permanent disability retirement. Since his retirement, his life has not been easy, because not only was he physically disable; he was mentally and emotionally broken. He found solace in dog sledding and managing his team of dogs.  He lived a life of seclusion in Nome. He is not looking for romance, as he believes no woman would want to be with him much less to fall in love with him. However, his passion for dog sledding and his dreams of entering one of the biggest dog sled competitions would lead to him finding his Juliet.
Cody and Juliet made for a perfect couple. She saw beyond his disability, and in the process brought him hope and love.
Cody has a heart of gold, which he demonstrated in his behaviour towards his dogs and Juliet. The author did a great job in detailing Cody’s past. Details, which made my heart bleed for him. I felt his pain and understood why he felt the need to live in seclusion. I loved how he grew through out the story.
I enjoyed the romance, which I found sweet, honest and passionate. What I loved most was the slow burn of their relationship. They were not attracted to each other at first sight; in fact, their initial meeting was awkward. As the story progressed, their feelings for each other grew until it became an inferno. The love scenes were sizzling, which had the potential to set my kindle on fire.
I have to admit I was unprepared for the emotions the story evoked. It had me reaching for tissues occasionally.   I got lost in the story as I rooted for Cody and Juliet.
Conclusion / Recommendation
Overall, Nome-O Seeks Juliet was an enjoyable read. Those who enjoy sweet, passionate, and angst free romance would enjoy this latest offering by Katy Regnery.
My thanks to Wildfire Marketing Solutions for the opportunity to read Nome-O Seeks Juliet in exchange for an honest review.
