This is the final book in the MacLaughlin family series. The author saved the best for last. This is quite a terrific read.
The characters were quite realistic. It was quite easy to relate to Lizzy as it relates to the secret she was keeping from Ethan. She was a bit fearful to tell Ethan her secret as the last guy she dated left her because of it.
It is clear from the get go that Ethan was totally and completely in love with Lizzy and he was not afraid to let her know it. He was not afraid to show is sensitive side. There were a few emotional moments that may have you reaching for some tissue.
I loved how the author incorporated the action scene. It took me by surprise but it fit into the story quite neatly.
If you are looking for a short yet exciting read then look no further. Just like the other books in the series this is a definite must read.
