After reading The Wright Brother, I eagerly awaited The Wright Secret. Morgan impressed me from the moment I met her. She piqued my curiosity and I wanted to know if she could manage her personal life in the same vein as her professional life.ย  Morgan Wright proved to be a force to reckon with not only in the boardroom but also in her personal life.

I knew she was strong, determined and independent, and these traits were on display throughout this installment. She faced her challenges head on and proved she had what it takes to survive in a manโ€™s world.ย  Morgan represented the challenges women faced in the working world.

She had to work harder than her male counterparts to prove her worthiness of her current position. It did not help that persons were trying to prove sheย  incapable of being CEO of a major corporation. She handled her love life in the same manner has her professional life.

Patrick Young is the man she has set her sights on.ย  She has been crushing him for twelve years and her feelings had not dwindled. It grew stronger with each passing year.ย  She now believes this would be the perfect time to make her feelings known.

Patrick Young is an endearing and engaging character. He is a commitment phobic, and it does not help he attracts crazy women.ย  He is clueless about Morganโ€™s feelings for him and he sees her as nothing more than a sister.ย  Besides, she is his best friendโ€™s sister and as such she is off-limits. However, lately he finds himself having thoughts about her, which were in no way sisterly.

Unlike most men who felt intimidated in Morganโ€™s presence, Patrick admired her work ethics and he encouraged her desire to be the best she could be.ย  I admired his willingness to fight for their love. When it appeared, Morgan wanted to throw in the towel as it relates to their relationship; he fought to sustain their love. I loved his willingness to brave the wrath of her brothers to be with her. This was a testament to the depth of his love for Morgan. Individually they were great, but as a couple, I thought they were awesome.

I enjoyed the time spent with the secondary characters.ย  The banter, humour, bonds of friendship and family made the story that more entertaining. These characters were presented in such a manner if I had not already read their stories I would be compelled to get their books to learn more about them.

The story entertained me and I never had a chance to be bored.ย  As it was told from the POVs of both characters, I had the opportunity to watch events unfold through their eyes, which made everything so much more interesting.

Conclusion/Recommendation
Overall, The Wright Secret was an amazing friend to loversโ€™ romance and one I would recommend to fans of contemporary romance.
