Wow! June came and it went. June is not a month I look forward to as it signals the start of the hurricane season. If that is not enough it come with changes in the temperature that is hot and humid. As I am writing this post I am praying for rain and it’s cooling effect.
Books Read and Reviewed
I read ten (10) books in June and posted reviews for 10. Less than my usual. I don’t what it is about June, but I always seem to do less reading for this particular month

Congrats on 10 reads, that’s a great job! Happy July!
Thanks.
Great month! It has been especially hot and humid here and with almost two months of no rain now some places are flooding. Good luck with hurricane season this year Nadene I know they’re expecting it to be very active
Thanks Debbie. I pray that their predictions are wrong.
Now, you have me curious which month is my low reading month. I feel like it was back in the spring so far, but I usually struggle to read in August when it gets really hot around here. I’ll hope you get rain (and no hurricane with it) to cool down your temps. I look forward to seeing what you think of Roni Loren’s book. Of the ones, I read this past month, I’d be curious to see what you think of the Innkeeper Chronicles series by Ilona Andrews (sci-fi/urban fantasy mix).
Have a nice July, Nadene!
The Inn Keeper Chronicles is on my wish list. So far we have been spared from hurricanes. Hope it remains that way for the rest of the season.
I hope hurricane season is slow for you. It’s always an intense few months. I need to bump that Foster book up my TBR. Everyone loves it! You are killing your challenges. Gold star!
Thanks Sam.
You had a great reading month in June. Here’s hoping that the hurricane season isn’t too bad for you. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Stacey. I am praying that we do get hit by any hurricanes.
It’s too hot here too and I find myself hoping for some rain to freshen the air a little. Hope hurricane season isn’t too bad.
Sounds like you’re doing great with your reading challenges this year. Way to go!
The heat is unbearable. The rain is not coming often enough. So far we only had that was heading for us but thank goodness it diverted so the effects were not bad.
The Mixtape looks tasty, I am on the hunt for it now.
I love the author’s work, so I am eager for this one.
I haven’t read any of those books. Looks like you’re doing well with your challenge.
Yes I am doing well.
Great wrap up…I love the “off the blog”, “on the blog” sections.
Thanks Robin.
Happy July! I’m trying to decide if I want to read What If You and Me.
Thanks, The same to you.
You had a great reading month! I seriously need to read more romance books.
Thanks. I need to read more fantasy. ?
Looks like you had a great reading month and have a lot of good books to look forward to in July.
Yes I do.
